With dual 48-well blocks, this thermal cycler accommodates high throughput in a compact design. The temperature range spans from 4°C to 105°C, with gradient control from 35°C. A heated lid, adjustable up to 120°C, ensures minimal condensation and sample integrity.
The VRW thermal cycler enables temperature control accuracy to within ±0.1°C, with block homogeneity maintained at ±0.2°C at the critical 72°C mark, ensuring consistent results across all wells. With powerful Peltier elements and heat sinks supported by magnetic bearing cooling fans, the Doppio Gradient achieves rapid heating and cooling up to 5°C per second. This design minimises friction, allowing precise cooling control and durability through intensive use.
The VWR Doppio Gradient Thermal Cycler features internal memory capable of storing up to 500,000 PCR protocols and offers unlimited programming when connected to a networked PC or USB memory stick. Users can navigate settings and protocols through a TFT colour touchscreen, with four USB interfaces and an Ethernet interface for streamlined connectivity and data management.
