Description
The Thermo D4 Owl Hippo Electrophoresis System produces flat, even banding patterns for reliable results. It accommodates sample sizes ranging from 17 to 102, and allows users to run one or two stacked gel trays simultaneously. The system supports single gel casting directly in the buffer chamber or with an external caster. The D4 Owl Hippo electrophoresis system also includes two UV transmissible (UVT) gel trays, which can hold threecombs. The Thermo electrophoresis system features a 3-point levelling base and a bubble level for precise alignment.
This D4 electrophoresis system comes with a PowerEase Touch 120W power supply, which features a backlit LCD display and a timer that can be set for up to 999 minutes. It operates at 300 VDC, providing 120 watts of power and a maximum current of 500 mA.
Additionally, this Thermo system includes two mini gel tanks with a capacity for two gels per run. They are compatible with Bolt Bis-Tris Plus gels and Novex mini gels, making them versatile for various applications.
