The Stuart SSM5 Microtitre Plate Shaker is a high-speed vibrational mixer, ideal for microtitre plates and microcentrifuge tubes. It operates at variable speeds ranging from 250 to 1,250 rpm, adjustable in 10 rpm increments via a digital display. This precise speed control allows for optimised mixing of small volumes contained within well plates and microcentrifuge tubes. The combination of high speed and a small 1.5mm orbit diameter creates a vigorous shaking action, ensuring thorough and efficient mixing.

The Stuart SSM5 microplate shaker includes a built-in digital timer for versatile time settings. For extended experiments, the unit also supports continuous operation. With platform dimensions of 220 x 220mm, the SSM5 can accommodate up to four microtitre plates at a time.
