The Stirling Ultracold ULT25NEU is a portable ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezer designed for secure and energy-efficient storage of temperature-sensitive materials. With a storage volume of 25 litres, it is ideal for clinical trials, biologic drug transport, and remote site specimen collection. Operating within a temperature range of -20°C to -86°C, the ULT25NEU ensures precise sample preservation. Its microprocessor control system maintains consistent temperatures, while an LCD display and LED indicators provide real-time monitoring. The freezer features an audio/visual alarm that alerts users if the temperature deviates by ±10°C from the setpoint, ensuring sample integrity.
The ULT25NEU utilises R-170 natural refrigerant and free-piston Stirling engine technology, eliminating the need for compressors and reducing energy consumption. It achieves a rapid pull-down time of just 4 hours to -80°C from a 25°C ambient temperature in an empty cabinet. The manual defrost function allows for straightforward maintenance. Designed for security and convenience, the freezer includes a lid lock for added sample protection. Its universal power supply supports 110V–240V AC, and it can also operate on 12V DC power, making it suitable for mobile applications.
