This chip-based design incorporates fluidic controls and advanced automation to streamline processes. The Sony system can sort into a wide range of into tubes as well as 96- and 384-well plates.
The Sony Cell Sorter is compatible with disposable plastic microfluidic sorting chips in 70-μm, 100-μm, and 130-μm sizes. It features a single, auto-loading sample tube that accommodates various sizes, including 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL, 5 mL, and 15 mL. The sorter also provides an LCD display for easy monitoring and control.
