Description
The Qiagen QIAxpert is used for nucleic acid and protein quantification within molecular biology applications. It measures the UV/Vis absorption spectrum of microlitre-sized liquid samples, allowing for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of DNA, RNA and proteins.
Features of the Qiagen QIAxpert
- Simultaneous processing of up to 16 samples
- Mechanical x-y-z stage loads the sample into the instrument
- Integrated 7″ colour touchscreen with QIAxpert software, for easy operation and data reporting
- Samples are preserved for up to 2 hours using on-board capillary channels, allowing samples to be prepared away from the instrument, if necessary
