Description
The TurboMatrix 40 is a headspace sampler from Perkin Elmer. It has capacity for up to 40 vials to be loaded into the removable vial magazine for automated analysis. In headspace sampling the sample (either a gas, a liquid, or a solid) is placed into the headspace vial. The vial is closed immediately and equilibrated and pressurised. An aliquot is then withdrawn from the closed vial and transferred directly to a connected GC. The TurboMatrix is an automatic sampler for headspace analysis. The oven can accommodate up to 12 vials and overlapping thermostatting allows the instrument to obtain maximum sample throughput.

- The headspace is typically positioned to the right of the GC to allow connection of the transfer line
- Compatible with all capillary-column diameters in split and splitless (direct coupled) mode
