Description
The Ohaus Incubating Rocking Shaker features a rocking motion with a tilt angle ranging from 0° to 15°, providing a see-saw effect that enhances mixing. It can accommodate up to 4.5 kg of material and operates at a speed range of 1 rpm to 50 rpm with an accuracy of ± 1 rpm. The temperature can be precisely controlled from ambient +5°C to 65°C, with uniformity maintained at ± 0.5°C at 37°C.
Users can set the timer anywhere between 1 second and 160 hours. The device includes independent LED displays for temperature, speed/tilt angle, and time, ensuring clear and accurate readings. It also comes equipped with audio/visual alarms and a caution hot indicator for safety.
The shaker’s design includes a 25.4 x 19.7 cm aluminium tray and a robust cast aluminium housing, topped with a durable polycarbonate lid. A stepper motion drive system powers the shaker, and digital controls with a touchpad panel allow for precise adjustments and easy operation.
