The AX422 model features optional AutoCal internal calibration, ensuring optimal accuracy and saving time. It comes with a 17.5 x 19.5 cm stainless steel weighing pan and a 4.3″ VGA colour touchscreen with a graphic LCD display to control functions like tare, calibration, zeroing, and printing. The intuitive icon-based interface, front USB ports for data download, and rear USB ports for PC or peripheral connections provide convenient operation. A real-time clock maintains accuracy during power loss, while GLP-compliant data records include sample details, project names, and balance IDs for traceability. The balance stabilises in just 1.5 seconds, enabling quick measurements.
