Monmouth MSC 1200 Safety Cabinet

The Monmouth MSC 1200 Safety Cabinet is a Class II biological safety cabinet. It features a motorised sliding sash, equipped with Infra-Red Intelligent Sash Safety (IRISS), which prevents the sash from closing if obstructed by users or equipment. The safety cabinet also has a timer for start-up and shutdown, providing added convenience. For security, it includes PIN access on its colour touchscreen interface. For lighting, the Monmouth MSC 1200 is fitted with an LED light. It can also be fitted with UV by the user if required. The glass side walls and two access ports facilitate easy operation, while VHP ports enable vapourised hydrogen peroxide decontamination. The cabinet also includes two electrical sockets, meaning the unit can easily accommodate additional equipment, if required.

The safety cabinet operates with three fans and features an ECO mode that switches off non-essential functions during periods of inactivity, reducing energy consumption. Internally, the working dimensions measure 119.7 cm in width, 63 cm in depth, and 75.4 cm in height. The work surface is made from polished stainless steel and comes in removable parts, making cleaning and maintenance straightforward. The biological safety cabinet is constructed from epoxy-coated Zintec mild steel for durability. The air cleanliness within the cabinet meets ISO Class 4 standards, ensuring a controlled environment for safe operation.
