The Heraeus Biofuge Stratos is a compact, high-performance centrifuge designed for routine and research applications in laboratories. It features a brushless motor for quiet operation and low maintenance, along with intuitive controls for straightforward programming and operation. This centrifuge comes with the 3047 swing-out rotor included, for four 180 mL samples. Alternative rotors and inserts may be available separately from the manufacturer.
With the included rotor, the maximum speed is 5,000 rpm, while the centrifuge is capable of up to 15,000 with other rotors. The Biofuge Stratos supports precise temperature control and quick acceleration and deceleration profiles for efficient workflows.
