Description
The Bio-Rad Mini Protean Tetra Cell is a vertical polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis system that provides rapid, high resolution separation of protein mixtures by SDS-PAGE or native PAGE. Suitable for applications in research laboratories and schools, the tetra cell can be used with precast or hand cast mini-format gels to carry out protein fingerprinting, sample purity analysis and downstream western blotting techniques.
The two sub-cell GT electrophoresis cells provide a greater choice of gel lengths, sample combs and separation modes making it ideal for southern and northern blotting protocols. Each sub-cell enables up to 30 samples to be resolved over a distance of 25cm, meaning with 4 rows of combs, the cell will run up to 120 analytical samples.
