Description
The Agilent G1888 Network Headspace Sampler enables automatic introduction of volatile compounds from almost any sample matrix directly into a gas chromatograph (GC) or GC/mass selective detector (MSD) system. It features an inert sample pathway, ensuring chemical stability and preventing any degradation or loss of analytes during the sampling process. Its large sample capacity and increased sensitivity provide consistent, high-quality performance across a broad range of analytical applications.
This headspace sampler is equipped with a 70-sample tray and can accommodate vials in both 10 mL and 20 mL formats, with options for crimp tops or screw caps. The system includes 12 heating oven positions, allowing for efficient, unattended overnight operation to maximise throughput. The G1888 is designed with a deactivated sample path, which reduces carryover and minimises any risk of sample degradation. It utilises a equilibration temperature of 230°C and features a pressure-controlled, fixed-volume sample loop, which enhances retention time repeatability in GC systems.
