Description

The Agilent G1316A COLCOM Column Compartment offers a temperature range from 10°C below ambient to 80°C, with a temperature stability of ±0.15°C to ensure precise and consistent operation. It accommodates up to three columns of 30 cm each, providing flexibility for various analytical applications. The compartment achieves rapid temperature adjustments, with a warm-up or cool-down time of just 5 minutes from ambient to 40°C.

The design minimises dead volume, with 3 μl on the left-hand side (LHS) and 6 μl on the right-hand side (RHS), optimising system performance. Safety features include leak detection and safe leak handling to prevent damage and ensure reliable operation. For communication, the compartment supports Controller-Area Network (CAN), GPIB, RS232C, and APG Remote interfaces, allowing seamless integration with analytical systems. This stackable unit is used for heating and cooling, to meet extreme requirements of retention time
reproducibility.
