This high-spec GC-MS system comprises the Agilent 7890 B gas chromatograph, Agilent 5977 B mass spectrometer and Gerstel MPS multipurpose sampler, plus computer and assorted accessories.
The 7890B GC provides superior performance across a wide range of applications. Rapid and precise oven temperature ramping can be controlled directly using the control panel on the unit, or with the connected PC (included). The chromatograph uses an advances electronic pneumatic control module for superior performance, resulting in very precise retention times and superior reproducibility. Additionally, Capillary Flow Technology offers a reliable leak-free process minimising the potential for errors. As a new system, there is an emphasis on reducing power and gas consumption, with the option to programme Sleep Mode and Wake Mode to suit your lab working hours. Also included is the Gerstel MPS. This is an autosampler and sample preparation robot that automates sample preparation in combination with MAESTRO software. It aids with derivatisation and addition of internal standards, dilutions and extractions, sample mixing, heating and cooling.
