Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer

Description

The Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer processes sample volumes ranging from 1 µl to 5 µl and can handle 10 to 12 samples at a time. The gel electrophoresis system delivers results in as little as 5 to 30 minutes and operates automatically. The system performs sample quality control for nucleic acid, protein and cell samples, assessing attributes such as size, integrity, purity, and quantity.

The bioanalyzer features replaceable electrode cartridges and is compatible with three types of disposable chips. It allows for contamination-free switching between different methods for DNA/RNA, protein, and cell analysis. The instrument operates within an ambient temperature range of 15°C to 27°C and adheres to safety standards with a pollution degree of 2 and laser class 1. Status indicator lamps show green for power on and passed self-tests, and red for hardware errors.

The device includes USB and RS232 interfaces and is compatible with 2100 Expert Software. It operates on a line voltage of 100-240 V and a line frequency of 50-60 Hz.
