Pure water systems are used to deionise water or to purify water for use in the lab. Deionised water is used for a wide range of applications in many labs around the world, whether for use in a humidity chamber or autoclave, or for more sensitive applications such as HPLC.
Do you buy deionised water or generate your own from a potable water supply? Most water purification units can be used with a standard tap water feed.
