Nick is the founder of Richmond Scientific and has been at the helm for over 25 years. He is renowned in the industry as the man to call if you need to kit out a lab on a budget! He prides himself on running a fair business which provides good value equipment and personal service to our customers.

Executive Assistant

Deborah is Nick’s executive assistant and keeps Nick (end everyone else in the office) on task. She looks after buying, sales and customer care so most customers will hear Deb’s voice during their dealings with us. She has a a great eye for detail and can be relied on to keep everything organised and running smoothly.  

Operations & Sales Support

Harry interfaces with our system to shoot all enquiries to the right people. Most interactions with customers go through him, so he has a good idea of the current status of most ongoing sales and buying deals. He also does some admin and accounts related work when he needs to. A great all rounder we couldn’t do without! 

Merchandising & Facilities

Lisa can usually be found in the warehouse checking, photographing and allocating new stock, or out on lab clearance missions, and all with a huge smile!

Engineer

Dave is our in house engineer, he can usually be found in the warehouse tinkering or up in the kitchen chatting over a brew! He’s a great all rounder and knows his way around most things that come through the door.

Finance Director

The other half of the dynamic Richmond duo, Wendy has been managing the accounts for the business since the beginning, and still keeps her eye on them today – nothing gets past her! She also advises on where the business should go and how we can better serve our customers.

Warehouse Supervisor

Stuart is the main link between the office and warehouse. He makes sure the correct items are being picked and packed for each order and that they are complete and working as described. He also flies up and down the country dropping off smaller orders and making collections. He’s a mad Wanderers fan!

Website & Marketing

Anna looks after our website and marketing, as well as being the main contact for our suppliers of new equipment. Her scientific background makes her a great sounding board for technical enquiries. 

Warehouse & Logistics

Ed works as part of our warehouse and dispatch team, booking in equipment, packing items for delivery, and helping on collections. He’ll help out wherever he’s needed, and also makes the best brew in the office!

eBay / Admin
delphine@richmondscientific.com

Delphine looks after our eBay account, from identifying stock, to photographing, to fulfilling the sale. She also supports with website admin, research and pricing. Delphine is currently studying for her degree in Biomedical Science and enjoys getting stuck in to technical jobs too.

Robert works ad-hoc with Richmond after leaving us to pursue his photography career. But he still helps out whenever we need an extra pair of hands. He can often be found out on clearance jobs with a camera in hand. He’s got a great eye for detail and keeps inventory in order during busy jobs.

Our wealth of experience translates to excellent value for money for our customers, who are able to fully kit out laboratories or simply replace any old pieces of equipment at a fraction of the price of buying new.
