The Mabtech IRIS is a powerful FluoroSpot and ELISpot reader, capable of analysing up to four analytes simultaneously with exceptional accuracy and speed. It features a patented RAWspotâ„¢ algorithm, which ensures precise spot centre detection for accurate counting. The system works with a streamlined, plug-and-play workflow with the intuitive Mabtech Apex software, allowing users to simply load the plate, select the assay, and press “read”. Pre-calibrated for ease of use, the IRIS captures the entire signal from each spot, enabling post-reading adjustments without needing to re-read plates.
Designed for efficiency, the Mabtech IRIS supports automation, allowing robotic plate loading and integration into larger automated workflows. The software offers optimised presets, ensuring objective analysis regardless of the user’s experience level. After reading, parameters like brightness, contrast, and spot size can be adjusted without affecting the original data. The system also introduces relative spot volume (RSV), providing a new dimension of spot data by measuring 3D spot volume. To maintain accuracy and reliability over time, the IRIS 2 can be validated with Mabtech’s Performance Qualification (PQ) plates, ensuring consistent results and regulatory compliance for long-term use.
