Description
The Priorclave PSMIDC60 Autoclave has a capacity of 60 litres and includes several advanced features to enhance its efficiency and safety. It comes equipped with an automatic timed free-steaming system, along with pulsed free-steaming, ensuring optimal steam penetration for thorough sterilisation. The autoclave utilises load-sensed process timing, adjusting the cycle duration based on the specific requirements of the load. For additional convenience, a forced-air cooling system accelerates cooling times, while the media warming feature keeps sterilised media at the desired temperature.
Users can programme a delay start time, allowing the autoclave to begin cycles at a pre-set time. In the event of an issue, the cycle abort function enables safe and immediate interruption of the process. The autoclave is fitted with a low water-level sensor, preventing operation under unsafe conditions. To further promote safety and hygiene, the epoxy-coated panels are treated with an anti-bacterial agent, providing protection against all bacteria and fungi, including MRSA.
The autoclave is operated through the Tactrol 2 microprocessor control system, which ensures precision and reliability. A locking handle and safety catch, combined with a quick-seal single-action door, make the unit easy to use while maintaining a secure closure. Thermal and pressure locks prevent the door from being opened when the load temperature is above 80°C or the pressure exceeds 0.2 bar, ensuring safe operation. Designed as a top-loading autoclave, the PSMIDC60 is ideal for handling tall items such as fermenters and Erlenmeyer flasks. The inclusion of loading baskets facilitates organised placement and removal of items.
