Description
The Techstar YC796 Nucleic Acid Automated Extraction System is suitable for processing 1-96 samples in order to automatically isolate nucleic acids from a range of mediums including blood, cells, viruses, etc. The unit uses magnetic rods and magnetic bead-based extraction reagent in order to fully automate the purification of nucleic acids. Using an automated DNA extraction system significantly speeds up processes and reduces the chance of human error, resulting in more consistent and reliable nucleic acid extracts. The Techstar YC796 uses UV to ensure the workspace is kept sterile, reducing the risk of cross contamination. The instrument is controlled using an operator-friendly touchscreen panel, which also clearly displays key information on the full colour 7 inch screen.
